Plastics Engineer

Polystrand Inc., a leading manufacturer of thermoplastic composites, seeks a Plastics Engineer. This team member will utilize their familiarity with PET and a variety of other thermoplastics to improve processes, optimize material properties, facilitate customer post processing of Polystrand and be key to product development advancements. This position functions as a technical resource for Production, Plant Engineering and Sales. It requires a strong knowledge in PET and engineering plastics, knowledge of standard engineering methodologies, a proven ability to get things done, and an expertise at managing multiple priorities in an entrepreneurial environment. Five to seven years experience and a degree in Plastics, Material Science or Engineering preferred.
